Affri
Since 1954 AFFRI® has being designing and producing hardness testers which are used to combine test loads together with devices which concur to make up the AFFRI SYSTEM®. The power supply is indifferently mechanical, electromechanical, hydro-mechanical, pneumo-mechanical. A long - time ago AFFRI SYSTEM® successfully overtook the philosophies of dead-weight and of the relative elevating screws of traditional hardness testers.

AFFRI® made the hardness tester working in Rockwell and Brinell tests truly automatic: only one drive starts up and performs - without a break - the phases of positioning, approach and execution of the test. The fully automatic operation and the speed in the entire test cycle, obtained by AFFRI SYSTEM®, remains unchanged even in the load-cell version, due to the use of unprecedented technologies (patent pending).

Meyer Gage
Founded in 1960 by Albert Meyer, the Meyer Gage Company was the first to introduce Class ZZ gage pins sets. Al Meyer knew that reliable accuracy is essential. World manufacturers depending on Meyer did not happen by chance. At Meyer, our reliability is based on dedication to one field - plug gage manufacturing, continuing investment in state of the art equipment, and our quality assurance inspection program.

The value in Meyer plug gages grows from the company's attention to detail starting with 52100 bearing steel (Carbon Chrome Alloy) hardened throughout. Details like uniform 2" lengths, no sharp edges, marking of both boxes and gages, sizes laser etched with serial number on each piece (except M-0 Pins) further contribute to the innate value of the Meyer line.

Meyer Quality didn't just happen. Al Meyer, founder knew from experience in the '50's that there was a big need for a better standard in convenient hole and bore measurement. He had access to some of the best machinists in the machinist-rich greater Hartford, CT. area. And, he had rigid demands for quality... which were met early and recognized quickly by industry. It continues today.

Now, in it's second generation, John Meyer Vice President is in charge of all manufacturing, and James Meyer President is head of marketing and distribution, so the Meyer "touch" is never far away.

Meyer strives to ensure customer satisfaction by continuously improving the effectiveness of our process and providing on time delivery of defect free products to their valued customers. Complete customer satisfaction is their goal.

Each Meyer Gage Co. employee is responsible for reaching desired requirements the first time by performing every task to its standards or initiating action to cause formal changes.

Comprehensive documentation governs Meyer Gage Co.'s Quality Program, procedures, practices, forms, drawings, and similar documentation that affect product quality shall be formally documented and controlled. All such documents are maintained and easily accessible.

Meyer Gage Co. is comprised of several facilities and divisions. Each business unit and / or manufacturing operation is autonomous with a documented quality system and quality manual defining each unit's methods of controlling products and services.
